Majestic mountains, unique Crater Lakes, and World Heritage Rainforest are home to the Tablelands Folk Festival, the longest running folk festival in Queensland. TFF provides ongoing access to cross cultural education and expression, enriching the community through artistic learning experiences, culminating in an Annual Festival celebrating Music, Poetry, the Performing Arts and an appreciation of harmony and respect for cultural diversity throughout the community.

For more than 40 years the community cultural value of the festival has been regularly acknowledged by the support of Government bodies, such as Festivals Australia, Queensland Events, and Arts Queensland. The TFF has been working consistently with the FNQ Arts and Cultural community for sustainable long term development. The festival is proud of its commitment to providing children’s and youth education in schools and the festival, and recognises the assistance of the Regional Arts Development Fund, Tablelands Regional Council, and local business.
